Powerhouse of Deliverance still searching for funding, but community service continues

Powerhouse of Deliverance located at 111 Whitman Street in Orangeburg, SC, is still seeking funding but is still committed to doing community service.

The program coordinator, Keylon Singleton, reported last December that he uses the money he makes from photography to fund the community service projects by Powerhouse of Deliverance.

As of today, there is still a lack of financial support for the community service organization. Mr. Singleton still does photography and still use the money to host several projects.

In December, Powerhouse of Deliverance organized a coat and food drive for those who are less fortunate in the community and hosted a Zumbathon event to raise money for Howard Middle School’s basketball team and bring health awareness.

Powerhouse of Deliverance has an upcoming Daddy & Daughter Dance scheduled for Valentine’s Day on February 14. The dance is for young ladies who do not have a father figure in their life.

Mr. Singleton said, “I will continue to bring projects to strengthen our community, and prove to the nonbelievers funding Orangeburg is worth it.”
