Sharnise McMichael from Graduation to Entrepreneurship

Sharnise McMichael graduated from Claflin University with a degree in business May of 2015, and six months later opened up her nail salon in downtown Orangeburg. McMichael at the age of 22 opened up her salon, Lush Nail Salon, at 1154 Russell Street. Arthur Rose Museum features two artists in one night

On Thursday, January 21, The Arthur Rose Museum located at Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina hosted an exhibition featuring two artists. The art show featured two of Orangeburg’s teachers, a Claflin University alumnus, Damion Johnson, who teaches art at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School, and Elsie Lewis-Fogle, who teaches art at her studio, Elsie Lewis Fogle Art Studio.
